OK, so we don't all have The Terminator as our father, but one thing we do have in common with Katherine Schwarzenegger is that she has faced the insecurities and body issues that many teens experience as they grow up.

Schwarzenegger wrote this empowering book to help girls "rock what they've got." In the book, she talks about her own struggles, and includes quotes from girls across the United States about their views and opinions.

I really enjoyed reading this book.

The world is becoming fixated on perfection, and many young girls feel a lot of pressure to look flawless. They need to know that it's impossible. I was one of those girls, I admit. But now, after reading this influential book, I've realized that I can look great and feel great -- without any major health risks.

An inspiring book that every girl should own!

  2. This book definitely exemplifies the positive image that every teen girl should express in the media. After reading this book review, I am curious to actually read it. There definitely needs to be more fun and interesting books out dissuading girls to cause health problems in order to look perfect. Nobody is perfect, and therefore every girl should accept that.

  3. Yes..and you will find you can relate to many of Katherine's outlooks on things which for many is very reassuring.
