Pink Friday is an outstanding album and even though I am not a big fan of rap, I fell in love with it. " I think that Nicki Minaj does a fantastic job of varying the songs on the album--from the different beats to the range of meanings behind her lyrics."  Every song is so different that I anticipate that everyone will like at least a few of Pink Friday's tracks. Although many of the songs seem to give off an angry vibe, there are a few calm songs with a serene, floaty feel that will get you in a good mood when you are sad."  I think that most teens will enjoy this album because of its diversity.

The songs' beats will compel you to listen to them on repeat and the catchy lyrics will have you rapping along in no time. Some of my favorite songs on the album were "Super Bass," "Fly," "Right Through Me," and "Your Love.""  "Super Bass" has a very upbeat feel and the catchy lyrics are easy to follow. "Dear Old Nicki" was definitely my favorite serious track. In the song, Nicki Minaj sings about losing her old self and wishing she could find herself again, an issue with which many young women can identify. Nicki Minaj also sings about empowerment and finding acceptance in tracks like "Fly" and "Here I Am.""  Each song's lyrics have their own special meaning, with songs about everything from love to companionship and friendship."  It's easy for listeners to relate to them."  Nicki Minaj is a fantastic artist and a bonus is that she features many other hit artists on her album: Kanye West, Rihanna, Drake, and many others. Although girls who are not fans of explicit language should avoid this album, if you are a pop or rap fan, then this album is definitely for you!
