I want this storm inside you,
To calm its angry winds.
But the oceans getting deeper now,
I guess you never learned to swim.
I want your tears to stop now,
So I never see you fall
Apart. Even though you’re breaking.
You’ve hit the brick wall. You feel
Abandoned by your heroes,
Lost by all your friends,
This hill’s too hard to climb,
And you can’t see the end.
But when you’re feeling lonesome,
And you need someone to depend
On, just look for me.
I’ll always be your friend.
Reach for my hand,
Outstretched it beckons you,
We’ll fight this fight together,
We’ll fight until it’s through.
