Teen Voices Online covers the same topics as Teen Voices' print
magazine, and more. Check out Teen Voices Online's weekly love poems, monthly powerscopes,
and art gallery.
Teen Voices is about teen women being themselves. There are enough magazines out there
that tell you how to look, how to act to impress a guy, or to buy certain products.
Teen Voices challenges the mainstream media's harmful images of girls and women by
providing an intelligent alternative.
Packed with original writing, poetry, and artwork by teen women from across the U.S. and
around the world, Teen Voices is a magazine where you can speak for yourself. You can
write about any subject! Here is a list of our regular features:

Meet the Teen Editors!
|
 |
 |
The teen editorial board chooses what to publish out of all the
writing and art that you send to the office. They also check the writing for factual
information, do additional research on the topic, edit the writing for grammar and clarity,
define words so everyone understands what is being said, and recommend other resources for readers to check out like books, movies and web sites.
How do you get to be an editor? Remember, any teen woman can send their writing and art
to Teen Voices for publishing!
The Teen Editorial Board is a mentoring and job-training program for young women in Boston
who want to learn more about writing, the web, and helping teen women around the world.
You receive a stipend and commit to working every day in the summer or three days a week
during the school year. You must be available every Friday and once a month on Saturdays
for a field trip. To become a member, you have to:
