5. Traveling also teaches teenagers about different foods and how to appreciate other cultures’ cuisine.

6. Teenagers who travel are more likely to have a better understanding of the world and its problems.

7. Traveling can also help teenagers develop independence and confidence.

8. Teenagers who travel are more likely to be successful in their careers.

9. Traveling is a great way for teenagers to make friends from all over the world.

10. Ultimately, traveling is a great way for teenagers to learn about the world and themselves.

Where will be interesting to travel for a teenager?

There are so many amazing places to travel to as a teenager! You could explore Europe by train, visit ancient ruins in Greece or Mexico, go camping and hiking in the Rockies, or check out the amazing beaches and nightlife in Thailand. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what sounds the most exciting!

South Haven

The City of South Haven is located in the northwest corner of the state of Michigan. It has a population of just over 4,000 people and is situated on the shores of Lake Michigan. The city is home to a variety of businesses, including a variety of retail shops, restaurants, and service businesses. The city also has a number of manufacturing businesses, including a large RV manufacturing plant. The city is known for its beautiful parks and its award-winning beaches.

Lined with local boutiques, art galleries, and historic churches, Market Street is the perfect place to wander and people watch. Be sure to stop in at at least one of the city's renowned restaurants - such as McCrady's, The Grocery, or FIG - for a taste of Charleston's culinary scene. No visit to Charleston is complete without a stroll through the city's world-famous Historic District. Stretching from the Battery to Calhoun Street, the Historic District is home to some of the most well-preserved colonial buildings in the country. Be sure to check out The Battery, a promenade overlooking the harbor, and Rainbow Row, a row of pastel-colored homes on East Bay Street. For a dose of history and culture, head to the Charleston Museum, located in the heart of the Historic District. Featuring exhibits on everything from maritime history to southern art, the Charleston Museum is a must for any history buff. To round out your visit, head to the beaches of Sullivan's Island or Folly Beach for a day in the sun, or take a boat tour of the Charleston Harbor for a different perspective on the city. no matter what you choose to do, Charleston is sure to charm you with its Southern hospitality and centuries-old charm.

There are many hotels on Charleston Beach that offer great accommodations for visitors. The beach is a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and surfing, and there are also many restaurants and shops in the area. Visitors can enjoy the views of the ocean and the many activities that the beach has to offer.

Submission Policy

Thank you for submitting your work to Teen Voices!

If you are between 13 and 19 years of age at the time of submission, you may send Teen Voices as many of your own works as you want. Please note that a ‘work’ may include, but is not limited to, your original artwork, poetry, essays, photographs and/or performances. Make sure your name, age, home address (with zip code), phone number and email address are written on everything you send to Teen Voices.

Generally, we will publish only your full name, age, and state of residence unless otherwise requested by you or your parent or guardian. We reserve the right to withhold publication of your name in some instances. If you do not want us to publish your name, please let us know.

Submission of any Work for publication in Teen Voices shall confer upon Teen Voices a royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferrable license to reproduce, display and publish your Work, and to authorize others to reproduce, display and publish your Work, in any manner, medium or form. Teen Voices reserves the right to edit your submitted Work, prior to publication. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot publish everything. We will contact you if and when we publish your Work.

If you are not yet 18 years of age at the time you submit your Work, ask your parent or guardian to read this Policy, and be sure you have their permission to contribute to Teen Voices. We will require a signed or online parental permission form before your work can be published.
